What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
While not being perfect it does many things right and it is an enjoyable VR experience with a solid franchise bolstering narrative and mood in general.
The menu has a lot of configurations for controls and visuals that's a big plus (not like other game we know ending with "Awakening").
I do like the save mechanics, making a desperate run to the panic rooms and closing those doors adds to the games tension even more so.
You have many tools and weapons you grab off your physical body, and they are all well integrated in how they function within the game world.
The atmosphere delivers a true Alien feeling, with great sound design and a fitting, snowy environment.
