Gameplay
Players who bring up Gameplay mostly praise it.
23 of 95 sampled reviews raised it
Some of the units have a neat progression and can be built in pretty different ways, while others kinda just stay the same with better stats.
Combat
Players who bring up Combat mostly praise it.
20 of 95 sampled reviews raised it
Combat – Great variety in terms of combat- you can field up to 16 units (sometimes less on certain maps), and fight in farmland, swamps, caves, and even several siege battles with catapults and ladders to climb.
Story
Players who bring up Story mostly praise it.
12 of 95 sampled reviews raised it
Campaign – The campaign is good, but I hope to also have different campaigns to choose from in the future, or perhaps side quests that are more prolonged than a single battle.
Difficulty
Players who bring up Difficulty mostly praise it.
11 of 95 sampled reviews raised it
Simple but surprisingly good strategy game, it runs on very simple comparables I haven't had any crashes the strategy is fun and engaging six very different factions, very customizable when it comes to difficulty, you get a lot of content for not too much money
Characters
Players who bring up Characters mostly praise it.
8 of 95 sampled reviews raised it
I played with a full human roster (except for one monster), but you can also recruit elves, dwarves, pigmen and (I assume) the undead, which should be good for replayability.
Graphics
Players who bring up Graphics mostly praise it.
5 of 95 sampled reviews raised it
Graphics/art style – Graphically, it is somewhat sombre and dark, which perfectly fits the setting.
