And that's required for a good ending, or a lot of the useful stuff.
The main feature of this game is the ability to unlock cards with all sort of spells that help us through out the adventure, this blend of metroidvania mechanics make for an interesting take.
The art style is consistent (subjectively I quite like it) and the soundtrack is pretty good.
What first drew me into it definitely was it's gorgeous and colorful art style, both in terms of character design, as well as in it's background art.
As for sounds, well, there are no voices and just text we read, so the only thing to analyze here is the sound effects which are many and are highlighted by the combat sections, which again, are the ones that shine the most due to the many things happening, so many cards and abilkities, somany sound effects, good stuff.
Its controller-oriented movement and twin-stick combat translate naturally to the handheld format, although the amount of action and projectiles on screen means careful attention is still necessary during demanding encounters.
