What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
There is also a nice progression system from planet to planet which adds some fun new things like additional biomes and geological formations.
What I like: Well paced, good mix of chill and needing to think, very forgiving of mistakes, fun and unique, cute art style, cute animals, I like guiding humanity indirectly, doesn't take itself too seriously.
A bit tighter on strategy elements and a bit more balance, some bug fixes, a few more difficulty/game mode options, and some QOL here and there and I would bump it up to amazing.
This game is begging for controller support, it runs so well on the deck.
The ambient soundtrack and gentle sound design add to the immersive atmosphere, making the process of shaping planets feel serene, even as the systems grow increasingly complex.
Because this game is perfect for the steam deck, the controls are just a little too finicky at the moment.
