The Odyssey of the Mammoth is a pretty good historical, adventure game that does a good job of teaching you as well as entertaining you, it also published by the same people that have brought you Shadow burglar and helpless, okay then the story.
The graphics are really good very beautiful with a great use of stylized color that just makes this world stand out, especially love the visual elements in the third level with the aurora borealis, it feels almost fantasy/other worldly like.
The gameplay is good, nice and simple it's almost a walking simulator but with a little bit of action to keep it from getting boring as you must defend your baby against hunters, to beat the hunters you can use your trunk as a club, you can charge at them or use a stomp attack, you also have a health bar but your health is connected to your baby, so if your baby dies it's game over so it gives you incentive to protect the baby.
The soundtrack is beautiful.
