Fun writing, overall joyful vibe that was a pleasure to play. looking forward to the next game from cosmo d!
The writing is surprisingly solid, which runs in tandem with the skill-check based gameplay.
Cosmo D generally made their name with broadly music-themed, surrealist walking sims, always strong on environmental- and sound design, but burdened with weak writing and a let's say "unique" approach to character design, so I don't think anyone expected their next venture to take them into the burgeoning genre of Disco Elysium-clones, nor that they'd do such a good job at it.
Otherwise, though, just about everything there is to love about previous games is here in spades, from the quirky sound design, to the surreal and uncanny visuals, to the deeply atmospheric soundtrack.

No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
