Lock Ao Yu instead, she's a lovely little creature but her gameplay is far more strategic and skill-based than any of the other three.
Yao-Guai Hunter is a beautiful roguelike with unique gameplay mechanics, fresh character design, a lovely artstyle, and Chinese-driven theming that makes it really stand out from the pack.
I'll start off by saying I enjoy the visuals to the game, there are very neat little animations, and they are fast so encounters go quickly.
Its captivating story, challenging battles, and unexpected encounters make it a satisfying game for any fan of card games or martial arts!
I feel as if the developers also put a lot of care into the sound effects.
