In my opinion, there are too much suspensions to choose from, while they have different impact on the gameplay, the most important ones are Offroad (as you will drive there 95% of the time) and Digger/Bullet (due to maneuvers you will need to pull in mud or on the rough surfaces + survivability bonus).
Upon downloading I was immediately taken by the awesome (albeit, nostalgic) visuals, I felt the worldbuilding almost immediately, and despite there being essentially no story, the intro absolutely captured me and I wanted to be immersed in this game.
I've been playing this game for a while now and was super excited to see that they recently dropped the Co-op update.
i generally buy indie games on sale just because of all the bad EA titles that just fall out of development or end up being hot messes. when i find a gem like this, i purchase several copies for friends. these devs DESERVE IT 100%. buy the supporter pack, enjoy the artwork that comes with it, the soundtrack is a bonus too. the music isn't a groundbreaking hood classic, but it's solid enough to augment the gameplay and it's pretty easy to even just let it drone in the background while you work on other stuff in between encounters.
And if that's not your style, there is native controller support not only for your gamepad, but even your joystick and throttle quadrant, if you like things complicated.
Runs great on the Steam Deck.
