What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The story is interesting and, much like in the previous game, escalates quickly.
Between Horizons had all the ingredients to be a game I’d love: sci-fi setting, detective mechanics, player-driven case progression.
Graphics are great with that 2.5D retro style and whilst it has the odd typo and bug, it's a pretty well polished game overall.
Voice acting is good, the soundtrack is an excellent tonal fit to the story, and the pixel graphics give it the retro feel of classic point and click games.
But the difficulty is fair, and I only stumbled in one case but managed to solve it with a simple hint from the community.
Fun 5 hour detective game, good atmosphere, great on steam deck, great value.
