What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Okay, so I'll address the two chapters (the only two available at the time of writing this) separately, but first I'll give a quick summary in case somebody doesn't want to read this essay of a review: It is a very good backrooms game that has great visuals, but it falls short sometimes with either repetitive gameplay or voice lines breaking the immersion.
Fourthly the story works well especially in the second chapter, so I wish there was more story building in the game.
The sound design of this chapter, particularly with the music but the environmental sounds as well, really added to the experience.
It gets the atmosphere down to a tea and is the best single player game in the backrooms subject that i have played. most if not all are multiplayer, so this makes a good and welcomed change.
