What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
There's a complicated frame story to convey to the audience so they'll know this is, in part, an affectionate parody of the modding and wadding scene.
This has zero gameplay importance.
The Soundtrack of Slayers X is Chef Kiss Slayin’ Good, pardon the pun, it was composed by Jay Tholen and I gotta say, but it was DAMN GOOD, packs a lot of rock, metal, tension, adrenaline to my ears, it’s so good.
Despite the game's aesthetic and outward appearance, Slayers X is not only well put together but genuinely fun -- if it were longer, I think it'd oust Dusk as my favorite retro FPS ever.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
