What players think
The recurring themes across 160 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The fights have a good amount of trial and error in not just learning their patters but learning what to do to deal with each of the opponents moves, but the visuals are clear and snappy and its never a question of what the enemy is doing.
If you plan on playing through the story on normal difficulty, then you will enjoy your experience, especially now that it only costs $3 because of the summer sale.
Combat is the core of Thunder Ray, and it follows the classic mold of reading telegraphed attacks, dodging with precise timing, blocking opportunistically, and punishing openings with a mix of jabs, hooks, and heavy strikes.
