What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Now the good: The combat is actually really fun and not terribly complicated.
The game maps are relatively straight and arrow, which given the time I played it is a welcome departure from open world games.
The graphics truly do set a high standard on the store page that this game "looks" amazing, but that's all it is...looks.
The characters had fun quirks and little tidbits of personality, but never really went anywhere (it is the end of the world after all, not many places to go), I played with the JP dub and the voice acting was great in terms of voice range and general performance (I don't think the subtitles match up very well like usual, with these localization liberties)
I love every character design, everything looks unique and each design compliments each other.
