The story is also improved compared to the first, in the sense that you get more character development and exposition, compared to the first game, where Gearbox decided it was a good idea to cut important plot points and hide them behind extra content, locked behind beating certain level(s) on the hardest difficulty.
While these modes don’t match the depth of the single-player campaign, they provide a decent diversion and extend the game’s lifespan for those interested in team-based FPS challenges.
New features include ability to restock some ammo for the US weapons you start with, new authentic weapons and vehicles like the FG-42, the M3 Grease Gun & M10 Wolverine; new co-op mode against AI bots in defense or offensive scenarios, some fun new multiplayer modes and custom missions.
