After it launches, it doesn't crash after hours of sitting idle or gameplay for me.
I have to say, while I do think the game has some issues, it generally is a good experience with a very interesting and thought-provoking story.
The gritty (and excellent) gunplay is by no means a power fantasy, but rather a much more grounded and realistic experience.
They have better map editors, animations, stealth, some aspects of their stories are stronger, better graphics/lighting and they're generally more accessible.
The game is really challenging on the normal difficulty, health goes down very fast and like I said, it's a constant struggle all over the map.
