What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
You really get to know the place by the time you've seen the credits roll, and there's genuine intrigue in wondering how the park even factors into the game's larger story, which was honestly reasonably well done to me.
To speak to the puzzle aspect of the game, which I would say is its main focus as far as real gameplay is concerned, I'll speak positively.
They're also quite easy to kill, and you have essentially infinite resources on any of the difficulty options below the very hardest.
Sound design is also so good that I felt uncomfortable in the same room with enemies off screen even while having enough weapons required to deal with them easily.
The less polished look and graphics add to the charm and the characters you meet along the way are fun to interact with.
The foley sound design is remarkable with certain sounds transporting me back to playing things like Resident Evil 1 Remake or Silent Hill 2.
