What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
-The story being told via quite decent cinematics are an appreciated and modern touch, although the character movement is... like, twitchy?
MechWarrior 5: Clans has strong visuals and sound, but weak AI, frustrating squad control, poor mission design, and technical issues make it hard to recommend.
Graphically it’s a solid update for the series and the sound design is excellent.
The main point of the game is to sucker some friends in to play it with you and five player coop is a nice touch but good luck finding enough people who are as rabidly ♥♥♥♥♥ up as you are to suffer this campaign from start to finish.
