Replayability: med-high—I’m contemplating buying the DLCs before eventually moving on to Xcom 2, which I hardly ever do
The premise is all thats really needed for player motivation and the permadeath and elements of chance within missions creates stories far more compelling than heaps of dialogue and cutscenes ever could.
One of the best aspects of this game, which it takes directly from the 1994 original, is that even when you haven’t yet found your adversaries, you will hear them stomping around, smashing through windows, and firing weapons, the camera wildly panning to the still-shrouded corner of the map that seems to be the rough source of the sound.
The art style is clean and readable, which works well for a strategy game.
Pretty fun and neat designs of aliens. no crashes or fps drops. but i lose some progress due to corrupted saves.
