Visually beautiful, gameplay feels smooth, pretty characters and there is 0 friction.

The combat is really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun in this game when you get the handle of it, The guns and knife are incredibly fun to use, I also like the management mechanics which make you change up what you use and how you play if you want to not be constantly out of bullets.
For example, Village’s color filter changes depending on the time of day, and if the game happens to think that you have to experience a very dark and hollow corridor, the lighting goes away in a very gentle, unnoticeable manner.
You can see the big budget, good camerawork and voice acting but you also have to suffer through Ashley getting kidnapped for the 10000th time (both in story and gameplay) and evil characters saying how evil they are with much less charm than the originals.
This game ran at 60 fps with mid-low settings while still looking really good, greatly optimized game like most RE engine games.
