What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
This is a very character focused story that can at points even almost feel like a slice of life character drama, with an extremely immersive atmosphere of an everyday life in a small town during late autumn and early winter, supported by amazing production values and background art.
The Steam version is a remaster of the 2012 original, adding full voice acting and HD visuals.
There’s this soft, wintery feeling in the visuals, and when it shifts into more vivid moments, it's more impactful.
Outside of a few segments, Witch on the Holy Night is pretty much laser focused on the rather deep character dynamics of the main trio, with, thankfully, very small but also very likeable cast of supporting characters.
