What players think
The recurring themes across 259 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
It takes the simple idea of lighting up floors/walls/ceilings by touching them, throws in a few special tile types such as one-way paths and elevators, and with just the abilities to jump and teleport gives you quite a bit of variety in puzzle design.
At $5, you're getting about 3-4 hours worth of puzzle-platforming gameplay in a calming atmosphere.
Due to this as well as the fact it isn't always clear where you are meant to go to make progress based on the abilities you currently have access to, I found myself exploring a few rooms in and then, if I was unescapably stuck or forced to backtrack just to get back to where I was before, I'd quit to the main menu without saving, then reload my save.
A metroidvania without guns and an interesting sound design.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
