Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack is a charming combination of side-scroller and platformer that balances out its lack in difficulty and very short length with its humor, appealing story and fluid gameplay.
Despite the great twist on visuals and gameplay, there literally is zero challege to them other than "how fast can you complete it" with no fail states.
The platforming was smooth for me; I used a controller and was never frustrated with controls/response.
With such an easy difficulty and a cartoony interface, younger players may find the best experience with this game.
The levels are really varied and it makes a good effort to introduce new mechanics and new ways to play the levels as the story progresses.
Bright colors and a bouncy soundtrack layer the game into being a cartoon-like experience.
