As a person who didn't grow up with Kiryu, playing these two games has really sparked my interest in exploring his character within the previous games before coming back for a 2nd replay.
Connections even come back in combat and unlock chain attacks and combo attacks, as if the mere power of friendship inspires the characters to fight harder.
The new playable characters are good, both the completely new ones and Madam Seonhee)
Project Sekai, Soul Hackers 2, SMT 3 OST in the form of CD's for your listening pleasure while roaming
Faces and facial expressions are insanely detailed and the textures in this game are so nice and don't use that much VRAM.
Whilst we're on the Steamdeck, I found best setting was to lock at 40fps, use lossless scaling framegen at x2 and get a near flawless 80fps at all times with hardly noticeable artificating.
