What players think
The recurring themes across 62 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
It's all about the gameplay in this one and it's quite engaging.
I really enjoyed the large map, varied zone themes, difficulty level, and upgrade system.
It uses a simple move-set of double-jumps, a dash, and one attack; then works these responsive controls into a finely honed challenge of combat and platforming.
It caught my eye because it falls into the genre that I love (Metroidvanias) and features an 8-bit art style similar to classic “Castlevania” titles which I also hold in high regard.
