I have no one who knows this game nor have I interacted with the small community that surrounds this game, but for some reason I have always remembered this game as a found memory. even with a pretty sappy story about gay celestial deity I still enjoy the game and the story it tells.
Their art style is just as charming here, and it immediately pulled me in.
I am also very biased when it comes to the music. for me the music is calming it makes me feel at peace besides the Nil theme which is more meh in my opinion but the new music was something that I appreciated even though I had heard the new music in the past. thanks to Alex Huang (@LydainChord) for composing this very good sound track I listen to it from time to time. the new features that I wanted to see were pretty bear-bones. the new art viewer is appreciated and has everything it needs to be a good addition. the photo studio is fun to look at, but only a few more new images were included with the studio which I found a little disappointing if you have the opportunity check out the combination background 15, Stardust 2, Time 7, Space 7, Nil 7, I think it is pretty cute and could have seen this a sort of post credit scene. the final new addition that I am aware of is the concept art which is also cool to see. just some behind the scenes explaining what went into the character designs. all in all the new features were sort of lacking. when I can just get the game for free on itch.io, and there is no new substance I slightly cheated I got this game because I have always liked it, but this just felt I paid for a free game with extra bonus to justify the price hike. the game has been translated into multiple different languages including Spanish (Latin America) and (Spain), French, Italian, Portuguese, Polish?, Russian, Russian, Chinese, and Vietnamese. list of translations from store page: ("Español (ES), Euskara - Gabriel Fiallegas Medina (Basajaun Games), Español (LATAM) - José Jil Tudela, Gabriel Fiallegas Medina,Français - La Chouette, Italiano - Robin O.
"her tears were my light" is a simple indie game that takes the concept of time and rewinding/loading your game in visual novels and implements it into the actual gameplay, you play as Time, who eventually meets Space while wandering through the void, and the story continues from then on, and- it's literally just perfection.
