Speaking of the story, it definitely goes places, breaking down the main character's story by era, and intertwining all of the supporting characters along the way.

And let's not forget the beautiful music, heartfelt/inspiring quotes, wonderful 2D/pixel graphics, a rollercoaster storyline, and so many emotions all rolled into one incredible game.
