What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The combat is smooth and technically well coded, but the feedback response feels lacking, it's hard to tell at a glance what is or isn't a perfectly deflected hit, or how to react to what, it's just not very intuitive in my opinion.
High Replayability: You will find yourself going back to earlier levels just to finish them "younger" so you have a better shot at the endgame.
A fantastic concept that provides the more story-driven experience Absolver should've had, visually stunning but falls short in almost all other categories.
It is a grueling, rewarding, and deeply stylish journey that feels less like a brawler and more like a high-stakes dance of death.
The art style reminds me a lot of Riot Games with Valorant.
Every strike feels weighted, and the sound design makes every bone-crunching impact feel incredibly visceral.
