To summarize, I believe that despite the many bugs, poorly translated dialogue, and awkward voice acting, Deponia is a lovingly crafted game with a strong sense of humor, beautiful visuals, and fun puzzles—though some of the puzzles can be a little nonsensical.
The gameplay overall is pretty solid, There's very few, if any moon logic moments in it's item puzzles, there's only like 2 bad traditional puzzles but the game lets you skip any after a few minutes pass.
The English voice acting, which ranges from genuinely excellent to "recorded during a lunch break with the window open." A Special Note for Steam Deck Players:
