What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
There's several skills to choose from, and passives to suit your playstyle.
There's also enough of a difficulty spike to make NG+ on both modes worth it giving it replay value.
I had no idea what I was in for when I decided to play this game, but not only did it blow me out of the water with its genuinely great combat, but it often left me with my jaw on the floor for the sheer psychotic *weirdness* and general grossness that is this game.
The game has controller support, which is good to have the option, but I don't think it's really an option to NOT use a controller.
The soundtrack is amazing, the voice acting is amazing, the graphics are amazing.
Sound effects deliver satisfying feedback for every successful strike and special move, while voice acting adds extra personality to the cast without overwhelming the experience.
