The main thing making everyone come back to PS2 is its unmatched gun mechanics, core gameplay loop, outfit involvement, and long term personal progression in the form of directives.
Combat
Players who bring up Combat mostly praise it.
29 of 300 sampled reviews raised it
But still, the gunplay is here and it's really damn nicely designed that makes smaller scale fights feel great.
Graphics

This game is old but it runs well, even on Linux thanks to Valve and Proton, the graphics are still pretty in my eyes, there are many guns, vehicles, turrets, you can build bases and nobody will judge your performance.
Multiplayer
Players who bring up Multiplayer mostly praise it.
12 of 300 sampled reviews raised it
