Story
Players who bring up Story mostly praise it.
143 of 300 sampled reviews raised it
The setting & world building of the game are its biggest strengths. 40k provides a lot of material to work with, and does some of the heavy lifting, but Owl cat managed to integrate it into their narrative and make a believable world.
Combat
Players who bring up Combat mostly praise it.
130 of 300 sampled reviews raised it
When the mode is active the combat is a lot more tense too.
Gameplay
Players who bring up Gameplay mostly praise it.
125 of 300 sampled reviews raised it
The gameplay is solid - though there's less voice acting after the first act so if significant blocks of text are not your thing, it may not suit you.
Audio
Players who bring up Audio mostly praise it.
44 of 300 sampled reviews raised it
But when there is voice acting after the prologue (looking at you Trazyn ) it's so good and shows how much voice acting could lift this game to even higher heights.
Characters
Players who bring up Characters mostly praise it.
35 of 300 sampled reviews raised it
The game has also a ton of depth in terms of choices, character customization, etc., which can easily overwhelm you if you are not accustomed to playing these types of games.
Graphics
Players who bring up Graphics mostly praise it.
21 of 300 sampled reviews raised it
For a game with a modest budget, it has beautiful visuals, fantastic soundtrack, and it appears to be faithful to the WH40K canon with an impressive main quest.
