While the story and the idea of looking back in time at a similar crime spree was a good idea, I did not like how you were just dump straight into the gameplay without a real introduction.
Each area panel is filled with details and lighting that gives it a mysterious atmosphere, and objects that can be moved or removed are indistinguishable from the background.
The narrator's voice active did a good job, as did the sound effects and music.
It's a good play as long as you can look past wonky logic, contrived/confusing plot points, and some fiddly minigame mechanics.
