If you are making a jump from minecraft or even Terraria to this game you should be warned this game is punishing, but also one of the most rewarding gameplay loops you'll find.
The iconic, hand-drawn Gothic art style and scratchy jazz soundtrack feel even more oppressive when you are the sole target of the Constant.
Outside of talking about the gameplay and difficulty this game oozes charm.
The art is absolutely stunning, there is a an interesting story behind it and the gameplay is perfect.
They released a sequel, "Don't Starve Together" which is even better, considering the surplus of content it has, and the multiplayer feature that lacks in this first game.
I had much more fun with DST where there is direct progression, and more chaos happening due to the nature of co-op.
