Here are some of the mechanics I really liked (based on the beginning to avoid spoilers)
Combat is tough and fairly strategic although one of the flaws of the game is that there is a lot going on under the hood and you have to pay careful attention to menus and such to understand how to level your characters up, I was bashing my head again the same dungeon 3-4 times before I realized that I need to go to a seperate menu to improve my charactors skills.
Check it out, if you like old-school "blobbers" and turn-based dungeon crawlers with in-depth character customization you'll probably love this.
