I absolutely adored every second i spent with it although i'm generally not a fan of character switching mechanics.
However Moonlight pulse does this mechanic so incredibly well not only in terms of gameplay but also in terms of tying this into the narrative.
Lots of unique enemy types, and a slow buildup of cool abilities that tend to have combat applications as well as platforming.
The core gameplay is solid, the four playable characters each offer unique movement and combat strengths, and the boss fights were surprisingly fun.
I found the game's difficulty perfect for what it is both for the regular encounters and the bosses.
Will edit as I play more later (played an hour of the demo earlier), but so far this is such a polished and unique metroidvania with some great ideas, a strong art style, and an engaging story.
