The monster roster is very good and the gameplay feels like a significant improvement from its World/Iceborne roots, which are the two most important parts of a Monster Hunter game.

The community is active and multiplayer is close to World’s system with no issues, filtering, cross-platform, and players willing to help with random SOS quests – or you just use NPC hunters.
The soundtrack, the combat (with a new wound mechanic) and the monster designs and areas are incredible, the performance issues almost make sense when you see the beautiful landscapes you commit mass genocide in.
