What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The core gameplay loop is fun, the graphics are beautiful, and the soundtrack is phenomenal.
Every sprite is distinctive, if nothing else, and the portraits and ending slates are all gorgeous.
I don't know anything about music, but what I can say is I felt right at home listening to the soundtrack of this game as a SMT fan.
-The compendium system is really cool, I love when games have customizable difficulty to make the game as hard or easy as you want.
Hitting weaknesses, landing critical blows, and many other actions gain you SP in combat.
The art style is the near identical, but the colors are more vibrant to match the wonder and mysticism in the world in contrast to the apocalyptic nature of SMT.
