Kaizen: A Factory Story

While the framework of a great follow-up exists, Kaizen: A Factory Story leaves a lot to be desired.

The sound design also deserves praise because the hum of machinery, mechanical clicks, and industrial ambience create a strangely relaxing atmosphere during long play sessions.

Now you are able to edit your solution while running your program (with updated visuals on where each component is located at that exact moment).

If you're the sort that tries to get as much value for money vs the playtime typically put in, this game might be worth waiting to go on sale for instead if the gameplay is of interest.

There's practically no need for creativity, and there's often an obvious "best" solution that disincentivizes further tinkering/optimization.

There's also no cue for the pachinko that lets you know when to end the mini-game in the story mission, so you might waste half an hour like I did just racking up wins waiting to see some other screen instead of just quitting using the escape menu.
