Designed as a free-to-play entry point into the franchise, it stands apart from its more narrative-heavy predecessors by emphasizing fun over mystery, camaraderie over tension, and rapid engagement over prolonged exploration.
I played for 2 hours but the game has super long cutscenes. so actual gameplay is much much shorter
There are three stages that grade you on your performance - if you manage to get through it without making a mistake, you’ll get a Gold, but if you don’t want to try too hard, there is the option to finish the puzzles at bare minimum, which is great for casual play.
On the visuals side, I must say that I was quite impressed.
The sound design, likewise, is functional and thematically appropriate—there’s plenty of auditory feedback to support puzzle-solving, and the voice proximity and clarity are fine-tuned for effective player communication, which is absolutely essential in a game like this.
