Kind of simple combat wise (so far) , though still very fun and the customization is sick.
But behind its slick visuals and mecha-core soul lies a game at war with itself—one that offers brilliant customization and engaging core combat, but suffers from convoluted systems, unintuitive controls, and a difficulty curve that nosedives from thrilling to trivial.
With pixel-art aesthetics, real-time ray tracing, and a dynamic soundtrack, it aims to blend retro charm with modern technical flare.
The story is interesting and takes the "robots replacing humans in the future" trope, but gives us a chance of reverting such a fate.
This one's probably just me but the song that plays in the intro/lobby is grating... the soundtrack overall is quite good but that one track is rough on the ears :')
For what it's worth, it plays incredibly well on my Steam Deck on mid settings with only occasional stutter as the number of enemies/explosions scales up.
