What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The massive enemy count is a major highlight of DWO, creating an incredible war atmosphere especially when combined with the cinematic troop tactics mechanics.
The combat system isn't just mindless "Square-Square-Triangle" button-mashing anymore, there are now responsive parry and perfect dodge mechanics.
I was never rushed nor slowed down by the story, which is rare among games.
The gameplay is also really fun and interactive and brings a bit more difficulty while retaining its hack and slash mechanics with great battlefield dialogue.
Musou games are known well for their huge rosters of unique playable characters.
The visuals are nothing short of stunning for Dynasty Warriors, which has never really been at the forefront of graphical fidelity.
