What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Runs feel smooth, there’s plenty to discover, and the gameplay loop is addictive.
I found it fascinating even without an inside view and I think it really personalises each character, unlike other games who just have customisation in your weapons and abilities or just a character that specialises in one item you can find with anybody else.
As of writing this, the game is completely free with no microtransactions of any kind.
What sets Holocure apart is its huge roster of roughly 50 characters, each with a unique main weapon and three exclusive skills that completely change how they play.
Stupidly fun, with builds for everyone, flawless presentation, endless amounts of upgrades to buy with exclusively in-game money, and a really challenging difficulty curve.
The presentation captures a playful tone that aligns well with the game’s theme, while the soundtrack reinforces the pacing with energetic and memorable tracks.
