What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
I know it's in early release, but there are a lot of issues with the UI, gameplay mechanics like the gods-progression is very quick for their demands even on easy, raids -enemy doesn't really do anything and is easily made a trivial non-issue by building a wall as they attack it one time and then leave, population/housing mechanics -pops dont move to open housing closer to their job, progression-you very quickly unlock all buildings and then isnt much left to do after that and there is a lack of aesthetic/decorative features to build like plants etc to make beautifying your city more fun, terrain manipulation.
The game offers some nice graphics and a nice aesthetic, although some ugly glitches here and there, it is pleasant all the same
This game seems to need some significant optimization.
- A multiplayer addition where you and your friends can play with another one one kingdom or build separate ones in the same world where you and your friend can attack each other or build alliances with each other and develop trade routes between the two kingdoms
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
