This game showed potential, merging a LEGO game with an open-world blockbuster franchise like Horizon, but the two concepts just dont mix as well as they should, as its a repetitive roguelite-like game with some creative combat, and some occasional good jokes.
I am sure the visuals would've looked even more amazing on my actual gaming rig cranked up, but I'm glad I was able to play on my SteamDeck instead because the game gets a bit grindy if pushing for 100% achievement completion.
So a great casual co-op game to play with family members or online with your available Steam Friends
Overall it's very fun and creative with a fairly good challenge especially if you crank up the difficulty.
Customization is also pretty in-depth, even with the limited roster of characters.
It has beautiful graphics, a cozy atmosphere, a remix of the classic soundtrack, and the developers brought back most of the main voice actors for the characters.
