What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The actual meat of the gameplay is actually really fun, which is what I got it for, but the amount of time that the game actually lets you experience that is very small.
Troops all do what you want, when you want, and there is an enormous amount of campaign content to go through.
I'm not bothering with multiplayer - it's too old for a matchmaking system so I can infer that every multiplayer match for an old game like this consists of getting pistol-whipped by older players with 100+ hours who've played the game since release.
It has improved visuals, more units, more missions, and overall feels more polished.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 4 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
