(Endgame) As a counter to my last point... after you take care of the initial main villains, being able to make summer go on infinitely in a way that was directly addressed by the plot was really neat!
I also appreciate that the various mechanics have multiple uses so you'll never be furstrated about learning a mechanic for only one use.
If you are OK with turn based combat and cozy games, this is a an amazing subversion of the cozy game genre.
While the art style is gorgeous, the animations and transitions are glacially slow.
As mentioned, the soundtrack is awesome, but there's not a ton of it (though I appreciate the three normal battle themes).
The art is great, enemy character design is on point although sometimes it feels uninspired on some enemies but never lazy or boring.
