The recurring themes across 53 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
This is too bad as the game has some neat mechanics and could be a lot better if it just worked correctly.
I think it is well worth $7 at full price, and you can expect 30+ hours if you choose to max out every character, upgrade all weapons and perks, and play through all difficulties.
Graphics are really cool, sound is amazing, huge upgrades pool and objectives.
Its combination of responsive movement, exaggerated weapons, heavy soundtrack, and relentless enemy waves creates a gameplay loop that remains entertaining even when the overall depth is somewhat limited.
