What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Like with dead cells, I beat the game in a few hours and then see the rest of the progression tree, where you slowly unlock the rest of the game - I'm sure some people like that but for me it just feels like I beat the demo version of the game and the excitement and motivation to grind/progress is gone long before I see the full game.
• Hand-Drawn Art Style: The game features charming hand-drawn visuals, providing a nostalgic and engaging aesthetic that enhances the overall experience.
To be clear at the time of writing this i haven't yet played up to ascension 20, i'm grinding all classes up to ascension 5 right now.
• Steam Deck Compatibility: *DICEOMANCER* runs smoothly on the Steam Deck, making it a great choice for portable gaming.
The art style, the music and sound effects, the dialogue, the interesting events and combatants.... yes it's that good.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
