What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
With hilarious encounters and writing, unexpected developments at every turn, and pretty simple and solid gameplay, this very short title can satisfy players looking for fun for a few hours.
Alongside the main 'campaign' of sorts, there exists two other game modes for players to enjoy, one being Survival that re-enacts specific scenarios seen in the game where you are ranked by three stars based on how long you can survive whilst the other is Shuffle that acts as an 'endurance mode' of sorts as the goal is simply to survive for as long as possible with the three randomly-generated party members you start the game mode with!
this game is worth the money spent at its price, but the game has design issues.let me explain first what the game has good. the graphics are nice, its retro, the music is nice. random events are interesting and the carriages seem interesting from what ive played. mostly the looks and ideas are good, but again the problem is the gameplay and how its set. first off the maps are too small for the carriages especailly the first one you will start out with which is the standard carriage. the hurtbox is too big for the carriages and the controls and are not accurate where you want to move. other games like hotline miami and galactic geometry wars that come to mind do this well because your attacks(bullets,etc.....)always go in the exact direction you want them to and the maps fit, here in this game because the movement is not inaccurate and your carriage has big hurtbox around it you get hit by any slight edge that appears before your vehicle in the game and you feel like you didnt touch them.its like touching s cactus in a path of daisies it makes no sense.
Though the game isn't thoroughly balanced and the soundtrack grows somewhat grating on long play sessions, these issues don't overpower the appeal of the game's humor and style.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
