What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Eldritch, developed and published by Minor Key Games, is an inventive blend of roguelike structure, immersive simulation mechanics, and Lovecraftian horror.
Visually, Eldritch’s low-poly, voxel-inspired art style might seem simple at first glance, yet it contributes significantly to the game’s unsettling tone.
Killing a single one is extremely easy, what's important is managing them to net get too overrun, killing them with melee, or a pistol against the ranged one, carefuly running around, as to not step into traps, which are usually more dangerous than the enemies.
I even found the atmosphere/soundtrack to be quite ominous and unsettling lol
The result is a story that feels deeply atmospheric even without heavy dialogue or cutscenes.
